PSYC111- Psychology and Life by Gerrig and Zimbardo, eighteenth edition

Class: Introduction to Psychology, PSYC 111

Quality: Acceptable
Usage: contains writing and highlighting in the first half of the book from the previous user but is still readable, hard cover with blunt wear/tear on the edges




CHEM121/122/341/342 lab manuals-Oswald + Wohlers

Classes: CHEM 121, 122, 341, 342
Instructors: CHEM 121/122- G. Oswald + various TAs (Fall 2011, Spring 2012), CHEM 342-K. Wohlers +various TAs (Fall 2012, Spring 2013)
Quality: Good
Usage: Good quality and binding with obvious signs of highlighting and note-taking that may actually help learning







CHEM341/342 laboratory-Microscale and Macroscale Techniques in the Organic Laboratory

Class: CHEM341/342 lab
Instructor: K. Wohlers + TAs
Quality: Very good-like new
Usage: very minimal writing/highlighting on less than 10% of the pages, excellent hard cover quality




CHEM121/122-Chemistry by Chang, tenth edition

Class:  General Chemistry I & II
Instructor: D. Jacobson, Fall 2011 & Spring 2012
Quality: very good-acceptable
Usage: used but not of poor quality, includes writing and highlighting in about 50% of the pages, International Edition*

*International Edition is no different than the USA Edition, with the exception of a different cover. Using an International Edition textbook did not hinder my learning in this class




CHEM341/342-Organic Chemistry lecture (+ answer manual +molecule kit) by Carey and Giuliano, eighth edition

Class: Organic Chemistry I & II CHEM341/342
Instructor: CHEM341-P. Zhao; CHEM342-S. Jayaraman
Quality: textbook-acceptable; manual-very good
Usage: molecule kit is in excellent shape; textbook is well-used but is acceptable quality with the only deficiency being the paperback cover (International Edition*) and perhaps some writing and highlighting inside the book; the answers manual is in very good shape with minimal damage to the paperback cover and nearly no writing inside pages

*International Edition is no different than the USA Edition, with the exception of a different cover. Using an International Edition textbook did not hinder my learning in this class. I previously compared this textbook to the copy in the bookstore before purchase and was unable to find any differences.










PHYS211/212- College Physics: Reasoning and Relationships (+ answer manual) by Giordano, second edition

Class: College Physics (PHYS 211/212)
Instructor: L. Bladow, Fall 2013 & Spring 2014
Quality: book-good; manual-very good
Usage: textbook is paperback cover (International Edition*), minimal highlighting on less than 10% of pages, some normal wear/tear on the cover from being a paperback, has like-new pages; manual is very good with nearly no writing, very good paperback quality-see pictures below





 

 

ZOO460-Principles of Animal Physiology by Moyes and Schulte, second edition

Quality: Very good
Usage: paperback cover (International Edition*), minimal highlighting on less than 20% of pages, some normal wear/tear from being a paperback (such as a slightly curved cover that can be straightened)-see pictures below

*International Edition is no different than the USA Edition, with the exception of a different cover. Using an International Edition textbook did not hinder my learning in this class. During Spring 2014, I compared this textbook to the copy in the bookstore before purchase and was unable to find any differences.





BIOL150/151- Biological Science by Freeman, fourth edition

Quality: Like-new
Usage: minimal highlighting and writing on less than ~20% of textbook, excellent quality pages with new book feel, comes with a free slip-on book cover




MICR350- Prescott, Harley, and Klein's Microbiology by Willey, Sherwood and Woolverton, seventh edition

Class:  General Microbiology (MICR350)

Quality: like-new
Usage: minimal highlighting found on less than 10% of pages (see pictures below), soft blunt marks to cover edges
